Yahoo UK vs Yahoo USA Revisited

I have a website that is hosted by ThePlanet.com that ranks very very well in Google but only ranks in Yahoo UK and not Yahoo USA. The website has never had ties to the UK and we have put the physical address on every page at the bottom stating we are in florida and still yet to no luck getting ranked in the yahoo usa. We have purchased 22 different yahoo directory listings for this site and even got on yahoo search submit pro and still no luck. We have asked yahoo over and over again if we are getting supressed and they said no we are not.

So my question is, ThePlanet.com ranks very well in google but doesnt rank in yahoo usa but they rank very well in yahoo UK for big web hosting terms "managed web hosting"..etc. When i go to ThePlanet.com (they are a very big hosting company) all of there testimonials i checked those websites and they also rank very well for the Yahoo UK. One of my competitors who I have noticed over the past year who ranks right behind me in the Yahoo Uk i happen to do a whois.sc on them and it seems that they are hosted at ThePlanet.com.

So in needing some major help, do I need to move my site to a new hosting company or do I need private nameservers, should I call ThePlanet and see if they can help? To move my entire site would be quite scary experiment but we are missing out on traffic in Yahoo when we rank very very well in Google. If we moved, have you had any experience in how long Yahoo could take to see the new ip and therefore move us to yahoo usa instead of UK?

Any help at all in suggestions would be great.
