Yahoo Site Explorer Confusion - Very different backlink results from Canada VS US
When I'm checking for backlinks, I've noticed that I get significantly different results in Yahoo.ca VS Yahoo.com. I've been accessing the results from Yahoo.com via (the mostly useless) LinkPopularity.com.
Here are a few examples: Canadian: http://ca.siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com/siteexplorer/search?p=http://www.nimama.ca&bwm=i&bwmo=d&bwmf=s QUESTIONS: Why the differences in results? Which is more reliable? Is there any other way I can check Yahoo.com (instead of .ca) results if I'm in Canada (without going through LinkPopularity.com)? use "linkdomain:"
I have noticed that yahoo site explorer sometimes gives weird results. I haven't had any problems with linkdomain.

Just tried that and found that "linkdomain:" automatically redirects me to Site Explorer, just like "link:" does. I get the exact same results in both cases.
How are you able to use "linkdomain:" without going through Site Explorer? It doesn't seem possible for me. |
