Yahoo SEO

Hi,

I'm scratching the surface of SEO and it really seems like hit and miss and a lot of taboo.

How can I get Yahoo quicklinks for my site ?

Is yahoos basic submit for $49 worth it even though my site is already listed with them ? will this boost traffic coming from yahoo ?

Is there a yahoo webtools similar to googles webtools ?

No... To do well in yahoo just create a crappy, spammy site and you should have no trouble going to the top...

But even at the top do not expect much traffic from yahoo...

More seriously... Yahoo seems to have trouble with the relevance part of its algo so big sites such as craiglist, gumtree etc that just have the search term on them seem to do much better than anything else. really better of just advertising on these type of sites as a quick way to get your name to top of yahoo...
