Yahoo Sand Box type effect
I have some pages in Yahoo that have good allinanchor results, and a couple hundred pages in Yahoo, but do not show up at all in the serps.
Does yahoo collect link info quickly but not show the sites for some time? |

I belive that at the moment Yahoo is placing FAR more importance on incoming links from external sources to a page than it is from links within the same domain regardless of anchor text - to me it seems that Yahoo is currently kinda like a cheap and nasty version of Google.
I also belive that Yahoo is trying to "walk in the footsteps of Google" so if you can get some incoming links to your pages from external sources with good anchor text and from a page that's "themed" closely to yours it will help with Google rankings currently and will *probably* bear some fruit with Yahoo eventually...............but you might have to wait a while for Yahoo to catch up |

thanks whitey,
I have some sites that have the exact same links and are doing quite well. They are all from my sites, which means Y is definitely behind G in identifying link neighborhoods of closely related sites. But maybe I am wrong and they are onto me? |
