Yahoo Rankings Drop from one computer to another! Please HELP!

Today when I searched on Yahoo for my main keyword I found myself on page 5 of Yahoo. I did this search many times and still found myself on page 5. Then, I went to anther computer (in the same room) and searched for the same keyword on Yahoo. I then found my site on page 1 of Yahoo. This is a huge difference! I know that the search engines pull from data centers, and there is the chance that the computers could be on different IP addresses, therefore pulling from different data centers, but the difference in in rankings should not be so drastic! Any feedback on why this is happening would be greatly appreciated.

I've experienced this on Google. For one keyword I appear number 3 however when I click on the refresh button I pop up #1.

Yahoo! is finishing up an update. I've noticed lots of testing and odd results during this one, similar to what you've seen. At times, I've seen large authority sites lose their top 5 ranking and drop to the 2nd or 3rd page and be replaced by a variety of smaller niche sites and a number of Yahoo properties. Then the SERPS will change back to results more similar to (though still different from) what you'd see in Google. I haven't seen this dramatic movement since mid last week, so I think you should start seeing things settle down with the larger authority sites being favored with only a few, very relevant and important, niche sites in the rankings.

Here's Yahoo's official word: http://www.ysearchblog.com/archives/000625.html

Open control panel click on Internet options and clear history, delete files including offline and delete cookies...do this frequently to get true results from SERPs.
