Hi,

My wedsite get indexed by google over 26,000 pages.
but Yahoo does not indexed our site.

someone know why?

Does anyone know the average time for Yahoo to index?
I am having the same problem as well and my site has been up for 3 months now.

I had submitted my site to yahoo and has been indexing it but very slow rate. My site is number 1 in several cities for cetain keywords but the contents of the front page is old. I had changed it a month ago.

that's right, and i agree! that's wny i suggest to build more links for your site. you can do social bookmarking, forum posting, blog commenting and article submission to make your site found by the bots.

Yes, it is slow but if you get more back links towards your site, it will crawly more effectively.

about 3 years ago, I remember having much the same troubles, and I know a guy at Yahoo, so I emailed him and all he said he was allowed to report was that THEN they were getting more than 300,000 index requests a day....so I'd think they're just behind is all....but I would re-sub that request....wont' hurt a bit I've proven over the years and yeah, your request "could" have gone astray...

Actually, there is a difference in the Algorithm of Yahoo and Google. If your website is listed in Google (I think it is the best search engine ;)) it means that your website is well optimized for Google.

If your website is still not indexed in Yahoo, it means that according to Yahoo's algorithm the webpages aren't good enough. I know this sounds weird but most probably, this is the reason.
