#1. Thanks! I've been using some of the tools on your web pages for awhile. Very cool and much appreciated. #2. My site's been up for about 10 - 12 weeks with no sign of a Yahoo visit.

Foghorn, thanks for the props on the tools and as for your site, do you have many people linking to you? Yahoo is a crawler based technology similar to Google (Its a link walker) so if you get some decent links from pages included in the yahoo serps organically then you will get crawled soon enough.
My issue wasnt with getting sites crawled however it was specifically bulletin boards like VB and Phpbb internal pages. I am thinking it may have been the upgrade to VB but again im not sure. If you continue to have problems with yahoo give me a hollar and I'll give ya some help if need be :-) |

Sounds real good seo guy.
I've been having trouble getting yahoo to crawl one of my sites - it hits all my others just fine except for one. It has about 100 backlinks showing in Google and 537 in yahoo. Site is almost 6 months old, nothing shady, ranks great in Google, and yahoo does have my home page indexed and I rank for a few smaller terms. But I haven't gotten crawled in a while. Do you have any tips on getting yahoo to crawl a site more often? |

SEO Guy, "My issue wasnt with getting sites crawled however it was specifically bulletin boards like VB and Phpbb internal pages"
I knew I had to be missing something replying to your post but couldn't resist. My only thought was that you were just collecting data. I've been "scrounging" (recips) IBL's, I've read enough to know that that's the key initially. "If you continue to have problems with yahoo give me a hollar and I'll give ya some help if need be" No worries, I certainly need some help but you've done more than you know already. |

My strategy is to get a link on a very big site (Big pagecount wise) It seems that yahoo visits these sites and their OBL much more often because of their size (This is assuming they have decent backlinks) |
