Please help me out to find the reason for why yahoo has been indexed only one page of the playlist.com??

This, to me, seems to be like some kind of Penalty by Yahoo..

It has something to do with the redirect here: www.projectplaylist.com

When was this redirect implemented?

The site is running since 1998, but projectplaylist.com has been running since 2006.. It seems like you, in the need for backlinks, made this one and then redirected to the main site..

is that so?

Well I think, Yahoo still has not recognized the Redirect 301..I have heard it seldom does so.. Most of the website pages are still here:

http://siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com/search?p=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.projectplaylist.com&bwm=p&bwms=p&fr=sfp&fr2=seo-rd-se

So, as per my opinion it has to do with the 301 issue..

But can you tell me how did you found that re-direction. Actually playlist.com site dont have any external link to projectplaylist.com

Double check yahoo guidelines about site redirection. take note that Google follows 301 redirection very well. But I am not sure with other search engines.

I checked out the Anchors, You have Used Project Playlist Inc. and .com as anchors.. Hence the only thought that comes to mind is 301 for the sake of backlinks..


Finally, you got the clue, how I caught that 301
