Massive Inktomi Update

I'm see MASSIVE improvement on the entire Inktomi family...Way Way Way up on our main keyword to 16 after stuck @ 80 for 6 months! Still dominating in our other keywords...but finally kicking butt on the "holy grail keyword" Whoohooo....Sales and traffic BOOMING. THANK GOD our hardwork paid off.

Here too!

I have a KW that went from 1,000+ to number 80 overnight. I can't wait until the next update.

I'm noticing Yahoo pointing to sub pages rather than the domain address. Ex: site.com/subpage.html rather than site.com.

This last update bounced a couple of our clients that sat at number 1 for several weeks all over the place. From number 1 to 80, then 300 something. The top listings were spammy sites and some optimized pages. Luckily, while the results were bouncing, our linking campaigns held true and the number one slot is back in our corner.

It's pretty amazing how unstable Yahoo seems compared to Google. Once we gained the top spot with Google, we haven't moved.

Fun Times

I never paid attention to Yahooo... but since this last update my main keywords are on the first and second page and I am getting nice new traffic. Still a tiny bit compared to Google, but it sure is welcomed!
