Registering with Yahoo for Domain Names
Not exactly a SEO question, but i'm wondering if anyone has registered their domain names through Yahoo instead of any other competitor. I saw a few days ago they were advertising for $4.99 or $5.99, and now it's the regular price of $9.99, which is still cheaper than anywhere else I have found.
Is there any catch? Do you have to host with them for that price? I want to register 1 or 2 names, but not host anything for 1-2 years possibly, so this seems like a cheap way of doing it. Just looking for input, thanks!

Ya i too saw this, if i am not wrong, i think it was a banner in the yahoo mail.
And yes i remember $4.49. Is it gone now? i thought to register 2 domains i have in mind with that price. Really if someone know if there is a way to register at the price, i'll be waiting now.

I had hosted a few sites with Yahoo for a while, and did register a domain through them...if you don't need a lot of customization on your site, it is a decent deal. I still prefer godaddy.com for the registration though.
