What is your website?
Is it the one in your profile?

Maybe you are on his directory, and if you are you need to use a the meta command that don't show it

Quote:
maybe your description is too short. yahoo tends to index many characters in the description tag. when you have a small amount of text, it will grab text from another part of your site, maybe nav, to compensate. |

Yahoo description
I'm guessing your Yahoo Directory description is showing rather than your meta description. If that's the case, join the club. A lot of us are stuck with that scenerio and only Yahoo knows why. But, Yahoo is promising a meta tag shortly that we can include in our pages to keep that lame Yahoo Directory description from being used in the Yahoo serps.

It can also come from your Dmoz listing

Stop search engine from using DMOZ description
Put this in the head of your document to stop them from using dmoz descriptions.
