Overture Site Match… don’t bother….
I decided to get my site in Yahoo using OSM…
Not a smart decision… After a paid the review fees I finally got my site indexed in Y. but when I did a search for XXX (let’s say XXX.com is the domain name) about 200 sites ( Google has 900) answered the search and mine was in there… the last one. I called the Overture peoples and ask them about this strange sh…. “ It my be a problem with the Yahoo Guidelines…” I’ve tried to tell them that I’ve paid Overture to manually review the site and they did not find a problem with it, and they are smarter than a dam spider….but it didn’t work.out. Conclusion: If you really and only really want to get into Y search index, use any other way but Overture Site Match… I do not see the purpose of that service….I grew a little, I am smarter now… |

You are right...OSM is a chaos
I used Inktomi to be listed on Yahoo! Search. After 3 or 4 months later, my site still listed on Yahoo.
The thing is that I never paid to OSM to get listed on Yahoo. I guess, that's maybe because I am just list it in the organic section... But, you are not the first person to tell that OSM does not works.... |

Inktomi ended any free submissions in March 2004. I believe it was actually a few months before that. That had to have been an old submission via Inktomi. Plenty of people got sites in this way from years back. But not today. |
