Links analysis using Yahoo
I want to download my competitors inbound links for analysis using the Yahoo Site explorer. However, it appears as though you can only do this in blocks of 100. Does anyone know of anyways to download all the links in one go?
Thanks

why would you want to do this? just concentrate on getting new links for your website. I mean you can just go through his through yahoo and just email them yourself for links.

Obviously! How about investing the same time in building some links for yourself rather than downloading your competitors links and analyzing them.
As soemonkeymanocp said, just having a look at it will be quite enough.... The only purpose i see for downloading them is that, may be you are planning to approach them too. Isnt it?

You're right, I don't want to waste time that could be spent building quality links. However...when browsing, I would love to be able to stick them in Excel and browse by domain etc because on a site with 1000's of links, many of them are from the same domain. I know that copying your comptitors isn't the way forward, but it certianly doesn't hurt to analyse what you competitors are doing - that is one of the fundamentals of marketing! |
