How does this site do it?
There is a site on google.co.uk that ranks 1st for "life insurance" and it also ranks 1st on uk.search.yahoo.com but the keyword density looks way too low for Yahoo!
Just wondering if anyone has some ideas? |

Links! Links from relevant sites based in UK with Life Insurance as the anchor text is a reason for this

What makes a good SEO is analyzing other websites and the latest trends or possible upcomming trends in search. Read these forums and find out what the best ranking factors are at the moment. Compare the top 10 websites for your target keyword to see which ones they are implementing and decide which ones you feel will work best etc. the best quote in SEO and probably every field: "Analyze - Plan - Implement" |

The external links using the anchor text of "Life Insurance" is a huge factor. KW density being too low would never be a factor. Only KW density being too high would.

To reply to motoxxx if the anchor text was "Life Insurance" would that seem spammy? or would it be much better (for google and other SE's) to have "Life Insurance from *Company Name*" ??
