Arrow Frequency of Yahoo Crawl/Yahoo Database is Old!

1. Does anyone have an idea as to the frequency of Yahoo Slurp's crawl? I've been crawled a couple times by an "unidentified" crawler (I think Awstats 5.9 latest build does not know the Yahoo Crawler yet...)... It would be nice to know when Yahoo intends to deep crawl.

2. Is it me, or is Yahoo running on an old database? Perhaps they have penalized my sites, and I don't realize it (when I search for a KW phrase unique to my sites I get crappy results)...But it seems like a "skeleton" database...I think we will see what the Yahoo Search will do in a month or so once it really starts crawling the web and doing some major indexing.

3. Thanks to those of you who researched the Free Submit option! I submitted my sites yesterday! I hope this lasts in time for everyone to submit! Paid submission sucks!

When does Yahoo's SERP update?

I recently signed up for inktomi inclusion, but do not seem to be in the yahoo results. While I signed up before yahoo ditched google, I didn't have the robots.txt necessary for inktomi to search my main page (this has since been fixed).

My question is: Does Yahoo ever update its rankings? I'm #1 on google for poker tips and #5 for poker strategy, but I'm nowhere on yahoo. This makes me think Yahoo still hasn't categorized me in there yet, but they should be since I paid for inktomi inclusion and it's now working.

Anyone know when could I expect to show up in Yahoo?

I think Yahoo is woefully slow at the moment at updating it's database - but then if it's db is still mainly Inktomi was'nt that database always resitent to change ?

Yahoo has a cached copy of my homepage that is over 3 weeks old even though It's been crawled mutiple times by both "Inktomi Slurp" and more recently by "Yahoo Slurp".

I suspect that at the moment it's results are primarily "old"
Inktomi and we won't see the complete switch to the "new" Yahoo database for a few weeks yet, or maybe not untill after it's PFI/CPC scheme gets under way on April 15th
