Ever Re-indexed?
I have several sites that were banned from Yahoo years ago. i tried everything possible to get them re-indexed and gave up some time ago.
I would like to try again, has anyone ever had their sites banned and got them re-indexed? Or is it a lost cause? BTW - the sites have been redesigned, no longer link to each other, cleaned up all the content etc.. |

me and my team experienced that same story too. you can't do anything on that. wait till your ban get lifted. it took us a year before we got re-indexed.

we've accepted twice I think, SEO contracts from companies that had been banned....and the first time the effort to try to lift the ban -- even offering to fly to CA to meet with - uh - the search engine people themselves to try to explain what had happened (client used self-made blackhat tactics, then hired a blackhat firm to go way past the TOS) didnt' work for us....too too too much time for too low an ROI.
spun off the product line, changed the name/logo/site/server/copy/banks/cc's(for PPC)/links etc....created a BRAND NEW firm...and that finally did work. have heard anecodotally same has been done by other SEO firms at conferences, etc... ymmv of course, but just trying to be HEARD was the real crux of the matter....and that's what we learned!!! you just add your website to yahoo site explorer, there submit sitemap as feed, and if after that yet your website is not indexed, contact to yahoo site explorer help.
you may be blocked last time for Black Hat SEO thats why it is taking a long time to reindexed. in future hire a Whitehat SEO professional |
