Exclamation Where are my Links????

Hi Everyone,

I have an uploaded site 6 months now. Using the Google Webmaster Tools I see to the external links this description: "See which pages on your site have links pointing to them from other sites."
What does this mean?? These links are from the other sites pointing to me or the opposite?

P.S. Please forgive me for my English...

P.S.2. I hate Google!!!

Ok, But I open Google and click "link:www.mysite.com" didn't match any results. Why is that, it suppose that must appear these back links.

If you not got your link then use some other link back checker tool. One is also available on this forum.

Google never shows full backlinks through Google search engine, that's why Webmaster tools exist - so that you can see the full detail of which sites link to you.

Yahoo does show up to 1,000 backlinks in the search engine. Just go to yahoo and type in link:www . yoursite . com You'll be taken to Yahoo site explorer.

Is this exhaustive? Does it include every existing back link?
Every back link has a date. It indicates last time Google found the link to your page.
So Google only considers recent or indexed pages giving a back link to you and exludes oldest ones or no more indexed ones.
