This is a myth! Search engines do not take into account the number of times a site is visited when ranking the search results.
If they did every spammer in the world would have robotic software that simulated human searches and clicked on their sites.

Google Analytics is the best free statistics package around, it is easy to install and if you read the help guides, and learn all the little tips to using it - it can be a very comprehensive resource for traffic analysis.

I used Google Analytics for quite some time but they have many privacy issues that even affected my rankings at Google so now I'm using 99Stats.com a cool real-time service that gives me any report I need.

Hi,
I have a site which uses PHP and have tried to install Google Analytics without success. I've tried to place the code in different folders!
Can somebody provide me with step by step instructions?!
All I want to do is find out which countries my visitors are coming from?!!
Help!
