Most server stat's show multiple hits from a single user/computer so they will all count. You may be able to see how many "real users" there were but it depends on the stat's package you are using and the way the server is configured (eg: All PC's may show up as individual IP's).

If you're thinking of hits in the pure sense of the meaning (a request for a file on a web server), then you will see hits for each user.
If you look at metrics such as "visit" or "unique visitor", which are counted depending on the website visitor's IP address, then it could be a completely different story. It's difficult to give a straight answer to this - Would help if you could tell us what the problem is you're trying to solve! |
