    Schema or rich snippets to display rates on the SERPs

    Any idea on how to implement a code that will help the search engine pick up banking rates? I know there's a Schema for Banks however, I couldn't find anything about potentially displaying rates on the SERP. Any idea on how this is possible? Can it be done through Schema or would I be using another sort of coding?

    Hi

    You can implement theData Highlighter in SERPs through GWT A/C.

    For more information check Google Webmasters Tools

    Thank you, Jacksontrovert! If there ends up being a schema for rates in general, let me know! I'll be implementing Data Highlighter!

    Hey, Jacksontrovert! I actually checked that feature out just now, and when it says 'Type of Information to Highlight' I should probably select "Products" in this case. It's the most appropriate selection, methinks. Do you think it would actually feature the rates on the page though? I've seen other banks do it but I'm not sure if it's something within their markup. E.X.
    Markup:
    <div class="ratetable">
    <table class="ratetable" style="width: 750px;" border="0">
    <div id="maincontent">
    <div class="insidemain">
    <div class="pagehead">
    <h2>IRA Rates</h2>
    </div><!--pagehead-->
    <div class="introtext">
    <p><strong>BLABLA</strong><br/> To verify current rates, please contact a customer service rep.</p>
    <div class="ratetable">
    <table class="ratetable" style="width: 750px;" border="0">

    This undoubtedly has to be via Data Highlighter, correct? Essentially, there is no other way to do it? Could it also be the code specifying that the table is specifically a 'ratetable'?
    Thanks for your time!

    Yes, but there is no section to specify Rates specifically. In the Bank Schema there isn't a section for rates. I'm not sure if there's another appropriate thing to use. I tried using Data Highlighter but It's not accessing certain pages with the rates (and yes, they are indexed).

    Jackson is correct on the Data mark up utility on Google Webmaster. That also could qualify as a event I think.
