    Subaru Impreza Sport

    Audi A3

    I'll post pictures up later.

Nice! I've got a friend who swears by their Audi - great mileage and reliable, they say. Never heard much about Subaru though!

    For me, let's see...

I used to drive a PT Cruiser. We crashed through many deer together and I loved her so, but eventually the bottom started to rust up on her. Salty northeastern roads are hell So that horse was put to pasture. Still have a soft spot for those ugly little bugs.

Now I drive an '06 Chevy Malibu which is...serviceable.

The car I learned to drive in was a Honda Civic, which for whatever reason I remember as being the best car in the world. Probably rose-tinted glasses. I think it was a '97.

Yeah the Audi does 45mpg, which is brilliant compared to the 8-25 in the RB5 or the 15-30 in the sport!

Not entirely seeing the PT Cruiser, seems to be a bit too uh, bold, for me.

Wouldn't mind the Chevy Malibu, however haven't ever seen one in real life.

The Honda Civic isn't bad for a first car! Did you ever do any modifications to it as a lot of people have done ;)

The family car is a 2006 Dodge Caravan. I have two "toys" in the garage though. I have a 1968 Dodge Coronet 500 convertible and a 1969 Pontiac Firebird 400 (with a 455 engine). The convertible was my uncles' car new and I bought it from my grandfather years ago. Needs everything except the interior (already done) for restoration. I bought the Firebird for $500....some assembly required around 25 years ago. I did everything, interior, engine and paint.

I haven't been able to drive either one since I started having issues with mobility/walking around 2006. I've modified the Firebird so I can drive it, just need to register it again.

I used to have a 1966 Chevelle Malibu when I was a kid. Wish I still had it.

I learned how to drive a 4 speed on my dad's 63 Corvette. He sold it about 10 years ago.

It's funny, but in lots of books I've read people always seem to drive some kind of Honda, be it a Civic or an Accord.
Both are referred to as 'small' BTW, but here in Europe the Accord is pretty big for a drivable car

Subaru Impreza rally thing is pretty impressive: I bet it can run circles around anything we can toss at it. Kudos

Really nice, is it safer to drive (ride) a bike over there?

Mike! Love all of them! We don't see many classic American cars here in the UK so they all look brilliant.

Yeah Civic's are really common to learn in, guy down my street is actually learning in one. However the most common car is a Vauxhall Corsa, not entirely sure why though. As for my "Subaru Impreza rally thing" first of all brilliant name for it, I dont know what to say as usually I say it's the "rb5" and people either pretend or have no idea. I wanted this car since I was little, I still live at home and I've got a bit of spare money whilst working, so I got this, on the plus side my dad loves to car (he's had three) so he uses it occasionally too.

Heres some pictures of mine, got none of the Audi yet (rather boring to be honest)

lol, I think it's safer than a car, they can't hit me if they can't catch me.

    @Mike
I had a 65 coronet 500 back in the 70's, I loved that car, but wrecked it.

Do you know how the size of the roads compare to the UK? There's quite a few crashes for bikers in the UK which put me off getting one.

Have no idea the difference is road size, I've never been there but there's plenty of room here to ride side by side and still have room to dodge something, plus another lane on the other side and that's just the two lane roads, I use a lot of freeways which have anywhere from 3 to 5 lanes on each side.

I've found that lots of roads in the UK are actually better suited to motorcycles (since two cars can't even pass).
Not the motorways of course, but the B-roads...

It is a fun car, especially with the top down.

BTW I wish I really owned the cars I've collected w/ CSR Racing

Oh I forgot to mention that my wife forced me to buy a cheap A-label (i.e. top of class in fuel efficiency) car
When I started complaining, she found me a 2nd hand Giulietta 1.4 (!) litre MultiAir, which does 0-60 in 7 1/2
seconds AND will do about 60 mpg when driven w/o pushing it. It's fab, it looks good, and it was cheap too
