I am not a patient man

Does anyone else feel they can relate? Patience has never been a strong point of mine.

I'm aware it takes a vast amount of resources to crawl the internet. And I'm aware that it takes millions of people around the world, but I need some change soon.

I waited 4 months for google to deep crawl my site before finding out there wasn't such a thing anymore(if there ever was). I've changed my website countless times and waited for changes that never happen. And now I'm monitoring daily search results and seeing no change.

What do people do to fill there time?

Some people start other websites, just for the fun of it (or not).

I used to live in a world where people did things like that.

I personally use the time to keep on moving forward with what I want to do, there should always be things to work on. If you've got a small ecommerce site for example, you can take the time to work on a different part of the site. For example if you're trying to rank a category for the product type for example "sewing machines", is there any content you can create to make your site more valuable as a whole, so providing supporting content to get customers in other parts of the sales funnel, so you can create content such as "what sewing machine should i buy?" "what's the difference between x type and z type" or if you can target the people who are looking for help to try and push the accessories, so "how do you thread a sewing machine".

There is always something that can be done.

There are numerous things which you can do. There is always something that can help you improve your business. Even if your business is solely based on internet and internet activity, there are ways to promote it in real life. Internet marketing is not the only marketing channel that exists in business. You can do various other promotions which can point people to your website and inadvertently increase your traffic and other stats. Back in the day, my friends would put their adds on add board of various schools just so they could get a few more clients (for math and physics classes). Each business has numerous dimensions and every client is important (as you certainly know).
