    Bitcoin

    Any bitcoin people here?

Looks like bitcoin is breaking out again - currently up over $600.

From what I can tell, most of the trading volume is in the Yuan denominations. Very interesting to see the various ways in which capital has been leaking out of China.

I bet most people think Bitcoins are dodgier than rubles even. Useful for speculation only.
    Am I wrong?

I don't know. I am not invested in bitcoin.

But I do think the capital flight from China through bitcoin and all of these other methods e.g. US & Canadian real estate, is very interesting.

The concept of bitcoin and the blockchain is very interesting though. Many facets of it are just too complicated for me to fully understand though, so I'm still skeptical.

Interestingly we've recently added Bitcoin as a payment method. It's a bit abstract and alien for a luddite like myself but its had some take up from affiliates in various different countries, in Europe, US and Canada and in Asia. I guess if you're into a bit of risk and trading then it could be profitable and make your earnings even bigger.
