IBM to Acquire Ascential for $1.1 Billion (AP)
AP - International Business Machines Corp., the world's top provider of computer hardware, said Monday it agreed to purchase Ascential Software Corp. in an all-cash transaction valued at $1.1 billion, or $18.50 per share.
