You are not dreaming my good man, they are running Google results for some reason, another dirty internet deal or are they just having problems with their server farm... or is it just one big conspiracy in the great search engine advertising business.......

They aren't stable and on track enough to be able to show 110% relevants results let alone throw around serps just to thwart advertising companies... they gottah get one thing straight before another =)

You guys run a test for me one that we can all run at the same time to find out what is going on...I am getting the same results from both Google and Yahoo on the 3 searches in the below link, meaning that Yahoo is using Google results right now for some reason.

Go to http://www.webcenter.squarespace.com there are 3 search links on the home page run the links and note the search result numbers, then run the same search on Yahoo and tell us all what you got, the same Google results or a separate Yahoo result, this will confirm if it is a regional matter or a worldwide matter of Yahoo using Google results again......

Kind of similar but really bad!

I have one main Key phrase.

Now 3rd in Google. Use to be 6th in yahoo. Now 3rd in yahoo. The thing is though that the first position, different than Google, is pure early 90's style spam. Each keyword of the two in the phrase is repeted 4 times in the description and no information to speak of in the text... Same garbage at 5th, 6th,7t and 9th positions...!

Should we start using spam for Y!.

They are not the same results at all, PERIOD! As far as I know, Yahoo no longer has licence to use Google's results they would not dare run Google's results nor would they even have a feed to do so anymore.
Sorry guys coincidence

This has been going on for about two months. People claim if you clear your cookies it will disappear. Not all people experience it. Another one of the many qwerks in the new Yahoo.

Sorry guys coincidence

SEO guy you and Outland88 were both right, when I cleared my cookies, visited sites history, and temp internet files, guess what the old mirror Google results were gone and the New Yahoo results were back.. How in the hell can this happen, are these old results still in Yahoo's search data base, that is a good question for another thread, how long do search engines keep URL's to old searches in the databases.

Thank both of you, I was freeking out since I was getting the same so called spam Zeezo results from Yahoo that I am complaining about from Google, I was ready to give up on the internet...Just think, if you guys would not have helped me you could have gotten rid of me....thanks again both of you......Please make others aware of this in a new thread SEOguy

Yahoo is sending out random cookies that are using google search results. I clear cookies several times every day and a few weeks ago I got a cookie that started sending me to very different search results - which I realized were identical google search results after comparing them. I deleted the cookie and it went back to normal. I thought it was just a fluke since it happened on April fools day. Just a few days ago I got the same "google cookie" from Yahoo again. Again it was virtually exact google results. Who knows how many of these google cookies Yahoo has pushed out or what the reason behind it is (I imagine it's to compare PPC performace). Since most normal Yahoo users never delete cookies I imagine that there are lots of Yahoo searchers out there now with this special cookie. I think only Yahoo knows why this is happening but it is happening. I wonder if google knows about it ' Im sure they should since it is literally a copy of their search results.
