Drastic Ranking Drop

Hey guys....
I dropped from ranking last night and I am not even appearing on the first page atm.
My site for the last 3 months or so was number one on many of my key terms. Last night there was a major shift making several of the sites number one and dropping me off the page all together...which doesnt make alot of sense to me, since many of the pages I had been advertising with remained.

I am about to also put this with a SEO wiz, all of the work I have done on the site getting it to number one was with the help of all of you, but I need an expert, so any suggestions would be great =)

Me too I was Top2 for my keywords for the last 6 months but have now dropped to 145! - Not sure why -

Perhaps I've been penalised without me knowing it? How long does a penalty last?

Same result here. From first page on all my keywords to either nowhere or 10+ in. Has something fundamental changed.

I notice it in other categories I monitor. Some permanent #1s have moved to page 2 or 3...

Hmm same thing happened to me. I check at midnight last night and I was in my usual high rankings, today I'm completely gone from all keywords.

It is actually a good sign that you disappear from all keywords. If your site was still listed high for some and not others, it would seem others would outrank. Probably we just need to give it a little time.

I've dropped like the propverbial stone - nowhere! The next day or two is going to be interesting?

Whats going on eh - 3 of my sites all with longterm top serps also gone since last night.

That makes 4 of us. I think its obvious none of us did anything wrong - just gotta wait it out I suppose. I checked the datacenters and they are all the same, who knows what is going on lol.

Same thing happened to me too...

Two sites of mine that were onthe 1stpae for 5 different keywords disappeared. I am in shock. These sites are perfectly optimized. They have been on first page for over 6 months. What is going on?

The strangest thing is the rest of the SERPs are the same sites except for mine not being there...

same problem for me. i've enjoyed #1-#3 spots for several months and now i'm nowhere to be found. extreme disaster for me.

Ufff, what a relief to find I am not the only one this has happened to.
My site has been number one so long, I don't even usually bother to check... today it's all gone, I was in panic mode, before I found the thread...

Does anyone have anyideas? I see the same results across all the 10 datacenters except International datacenters.
Lets pray that this is not permanent.

Is everyone here optimizing for health related sites? I had a dozen or so sites (which still have the same pr of 6+ right now) that had pg 1 placement. ALL of them are gone. Zip, nada, squat! I was guessing google decided to crack down on the online pharmacy industry and remove ALL sites that barely even mentioned the ability to buy drugs online. All I see now is fda/non-profit and other gov sites.
