Accolades to SEO-GUY

This cannot go without being written. I'm pretty new to this e-commerce/website/internet/search engine "game". For the past year I managed to build and learn and take in as much as I could, but I got to a point where it was just beyond me what else I could do to "really" compete with top ranking (including spammy) sites in my industry. I was wasting more time trying to figure out SEO than running my business - NOT a good thing when you are a one person show.

Bring in the expert........
I decided the only way for me to successfully advance in my placements was to look at hiring someone who's business is SEO. Someone who would listen to my objectives and goals and work with me to achieve them, and not turn my business into something of their creation.

I've been reading this particular forum since May......and one of the many contributors I have come to respect and "sit up and listen to" is SEO-GUY. I contacted him with my situation, and we discussed my options. He was fair, articulate and provided suggestions and tips even before I decided to work with him. From my perspective as a small business owner, his willingness to share information, and immediate personal attention made the decision easy for me. His generous contributions of time and energy, expertise and networking abilities would be an asset to ANY company.

The present result............
For me - the highest rank I was ever able to achieve was #4-5 for my top keywords -so, I WAS placing, but not "competing". After having seo-guy re-work my site's optimization etc. I sit with no less than 16 #1 rankings for my targeted keywords, plus a handful of #2's and another handful of other top 10 serps. That is only after just under 2 months since I first contacted him. Need a SEO on your side? I'd give this one a shot for sure. He had no idea that I'd come on here and share this, so if you do contact him, tell him the CDNCHK sent you. ;-)

That is very nice of you to say. I also have much respect for seo-guy. His contribution to SEOChat and his contribution to the SEO community are a couple of the many reasons why I seeked out seo_guy to join this forum as a moderator.

I am glad he accepted and I am really glad he is helping out members of the SEO community.

CDNCHK that is a great comment. I run a small business too and am spending too much time on this. And I still can't program anything. You've got me rethinking my time investment.

I have a friend that used SEO-Guy's service in the past and they experienced similar results as outlined above. I know this thread is starting to sound like a commercial, but i just figured id add my 2 cents worth. I am going to be recommending him to my the company i work for.

I went through four SEOs before stumbling upon SEO guy and here is where I stop looking! For an entire year I was trying to get a Google ranking that would at least put me in the top 30. Today I am number 9 and climbing for one the most competitive keyword terms in my market.

If you are a website owner contemplating hiring SEO Guy, my advice to you is write the check.

These guys really get it done.
