Massive Yahoo update.

In the uk market there are once again USA sites in the listings on the pages from uk search lol.

Yahoo will you ever get this right ?

Dont know if it has settled yet but the serps are completely different.

Some up ... some down.

yes i see some very positive changes, #1 for 40 000 searches keyword/month, but no traffic

Yes. I can see the massive changes in Y! SERPs. Most spam sites pushed up again to the top. I think Y! just undid the last changes.

<update>Some of my sites (including banned ones) turned up again in the SERPs. But these are not spam ones.</update>

expat agrees: I agree. They are using an old cache, not their most recent one. Prabably their old algorithm. I
went from #3 to #55!

i have just check my rankings for croatian keywords, if this stay like this, then yahoo is really crap SE Most important and great sites are all out from top 20

My site has now hit the top 5 for a few very nice keywords, so im a happy bear.

Must admit, suffered a lose in SERP's with Y over the months by trying to keep G happy, but now it looks like they are showing me so love as well.

Noticing they are still placing a lot on on-page seo.

mega time delay in imho..

High comp k/w that Iv'e been working on for 12months which google reached #5 but yahoo would only hit between 10-16 but today on .co.uk its #1 i'm well happy as the k/w pulls 1.6k (overture) ...

Sad that my stats sever is down so i'll update on the clicks I get...

My best site, which is currently #1 for it's keywords for 1 1/2 years now is nowhere. Lost another #1 which moved to #5 and gained a little on other sites, but generally I think this is a backstep in terms of relevancy at Yahoo!

I'm always on Yahoo!'s side because I like it but now they're screwing the SERPs. Still, the update is still in progress, so let's way and see.

in my niche i see more relevant results in the top 20

personally i went from #3 to #2 and from #12 to #10 for 2 main keywords.

Good update for both relevancy and myself.

Update: that #1 went to #75.

What's odd for me is that it is the most established site I have and it is not a spammy one. Other less developed sites gained/decreased but in a way smaller manner.

Huh, Yahoo! is up to something
