Hi,

I'm not sure what google is doing right now, I have just noticed a change in the serps in the last half an hour. I check nearly every hour of the day every day lol and this is the most sig change I have seen in a while.

Possibly just everflux, but my main competition has been removed onto page 2 and I have dropped just 1 position, so I shouldn't see too much difference in terms of traffic for me.

From what I have read, it is a significant change in the value of reciprocal backlinks. This has yet to be proven.

I dunno man, I just been to your site and as far as I can see you have a page rank of zero, your an affiliate and one of the links on your page doesn't work, the aboutus.

If this is true and the value of reciprocal links has been reduced/increased what gives in it's place?

This Update been for the past few weeks,
something is defiantly going on in google servers, I hope this update will not stay with the current results cause 5 of my site just disappear from the first 100 results and the been on the first page for all their keywords ( No SPAM, Not too many Link repc.) And my main site that my all business depend on kicked to rank 79 from the top 5 if this update will not update soon I guess my business will die. And that my mistake that I build my business on google. 80% of the traffic from google.

Well maybe this is googles way of rewarding you. From what I have just read: Sites that drop off early in an update bounce back much harder towards the end of an update.

They were asking for that information in the other thread.
I just don't know enough to say what is going on. Been to other message boards and no one seems to know at this time.
Are your one way links strickly themed? or do they come from non themed sites?

its a mix themed and non themed...

if they are starting to PUNISH for links this will open a big can of worms in my book people spamming links so competitors go down sort of like the guestbook days.

BUT
what i have noticed is top sites are CORPORATE sites like FOrbes and MSN....hmmm

I really hope I come back as hard as you say cause the DC show me down as well as the all ins

It must not be a full-scale, across-the-board update, because I've been checking all my keywords (in many different topics) since people began talking about the changes 2 or 3 weeks ago, and I haven't seen a single change in any of my areas (other than slight changes up or down by 1 or 2 places, as usual). Everything I track looks the same. Odd.

trust rank?

Its bull**** rank

the number onhe site is a feakin AD

look under debt consolidation its FORBES...

The only 2 things i have done was 1- I added Link Vault links (all one way)

and 2 I added and RSS feed on TUES (this would not be why i went down would it cause this update has been happening?)
