Articles for Popularity...
Dont want to be guilty of a shameless plug, but the company that I work for does SEO for xxx.zeromillion.com
the site is always looking for new authors xxxwww.zeromillion.com/involve and has a CMS set up so that, once you have been approved, you can add your articles directly to the site. Some plusses are: (1) Article submissions are in HTML, so you can add images and links (2) Articles are also stored in an rss feed that pings Yahoo's blog service every time a new article is added (3) You have access to go back and edit any article in the future (read, I launched a new site and need some more backlinks) (4) You have access to a list of all your articles They have a category specifically on Web Marketing, but cover several issues. Anyway, if you are interested, go sign up! You do have to submit an example article for review. Last edited by EGOL : May 26th, 2005 at 02:39 PM. Reason: some plugs are ok but live links are not allowed |

I've read about articles, but the question for me is this: what would I write about? I work for a law firm so we can't offer much except maybe legal advice. To do that, though, the attorney would have to write it (and he's so busy he hasn't the time).
I know that sounds kinda 'whiney' but my main question is this: what types of information go in the articles? |

You can write about the difficulties of doing SEO for a law firm...

Our site has a section on
business and e-business. You can talk about running a law firm, working in a law firm, the struggles of a law firm, business legal issues. They dont have to be difficult topics- our site actually allows you to categorize your article by difficulty...

You can also hire a content writer and then just proofread them (as they will have your name on them) before they are submitted. Depending on the level of technical knowledge needed the price will of course vary.
A non-technical General article could be as low as $4 while highly specialized ones could run you closer to the $50 mark. |
