dmoz discrimination?

I own a eccomerce surf shop called Freakfish and i have tried to submit my URL to DMOZ but nothing has happend. I submitted it about 4 months ago now. freakfish.co.uk

I tried to become an editor but i failed for some reason. I'm not sure if there is an editor for my catagory which is 'surf shops'.

Also i wondered if one of my competitors could be a editor and discriminate against my site and not add it to the ODP.

Cheers

First of all your choice of words is incorrect as discrimation doesn't apply in this particular case and would be a much stronger allegation.

That being said, it is not out of the ordinary for a site to not have been reviewed in that time period. Before this turns into a blind anti-DMOZ thread, have you enquired through their Forum for a status?

It is possible it just isn't in the right category. My best piece of advice would be to be as professional as possible when you do enquire, follow the guidelines and not start out with allegations of discrimination.

You can attract a lot more bees with honey than vinegar.

I wasnt accusing anyone of discimination, i just dont fully understand how all this Human editor directory works.
I submitted this site more than a month ago and it hasn't shown up yet.

http://www.freakfish.co.uk

I believe I submitted it under

Maybe you did, but it was found in a specific city and did not work at that time. If you only submitted once then resubmit it now. If you submitted more than once, ask at RZ before submitting again.
