SEOInc ... they have forums!
guys, seoinc has a forum, it looks new and i guess i never saw it before. they even have a section called 'ask the ceo'
anyway, i went ahead and asked them the dreaded question... what happened to their rankings... i'm awaiting a response. http://www.seoinc.com/seo-forum/seo-inc/ask-the-ceo/13-0.html

Oh, man. If you ever come to one of my forums and do that I will not only delete your post, I will also ban your account as well as your entire IP block. But then, I'm a bit of a tyrant. |

Funny enough their sales pitch states: "We employ the same methodologies we use in ranking Search Engine Optimization Inc."
Now, if that doesn't convince you to dig deep into your pocket, nothing will... raz

much agreed raz... they can also decide to not answer it if they don't want to.
(sidenote: they still rank #1 on msn for 'seo' and #4 on yahoo, so i'm sure they're still getting traffic) |

You're not kidding....I must say it takes some guts to have an SEO forum on your business site dedicated to offering SEO if you recently got Google smacked. In addition, I'm wondering why a web focused company with 50+ employees would use the default phpBB theme? It makes them look cheap to me. |

Yeah, I'll keep an eye out for a raging chimp. But they aren't business related so you can get away with anything you want as long as you don't use monkey language. I should have said: "If I had a business forum and you made me look bad....I would ban your memebership." |

Should we keep them busy by continuing to ask the question? I mean honestly how do they think they will be able to hide the fact that they got beaten down? As long as no one talks about it, it didnt happen?

It's not blatant censoring, looks like caution - of a sort.
I've seen worse - and in a way you've gotta respect their way of dealing with the "issue" over there. Doesn't mean we should keep our mouths shut over here though BTW - I like their logo - it's cool 8) |

yes, they handled it pretty well ... i told them in a private message something to the effect of 'i didn't want to be stepping on any toes by asking this, i just thought it would be better to get a direct answer from you, instead of just speculating' .... very noble of them.
