Have they change the algo again??

It may not be algo changes but rather just reshuffling.

Yes, shuffle shuffle shuffle. I can't seem to find the logic behind the M. First I was #1, then i dropped, then #1 again then dropped. now I was analyzing top 5 listings and Friday all 5 were dumped. I wonder if this was the plan to combat SPAM, or meybe give every decent site an opportunity to finally be in top 5. there are however 2 sites that are not being shuffled at all. Always in the top 10 and both have no on page optimization. BLs must play a pretty big role for those 2 but I have actually more BLs than one of those 2. So go figure.

M must have read my last post yesterday LOL because we finally jumped back up to #4. Well, its not #1 but Ill take it any time. I am more convinced than ever about the shuffle thing: #1 listing dumped to the 4th page. I think if you properly optimize your page you will be ok but expect these shuffles all the time.

Thats exactly what has been happening to me. We jumped up to #1 (not very competitve kw) and then dropped to like 45. We are now back up but the bosses were worried for a few days... I try to tell em expect stuff like this so hopefully that will sink in.
