Question Switch to MSN?

Just a quick question to poll the masses out there..

Have you made, or will you make the switch to search.msn.com?

I definately made the switch, msn is now start page, i can still use google if i don't find what i'm looking for in the little google search box Opera provides.
I'm fed up with the way google works, msn may not be perfect but neither was google when it started.
It's kind off my revenge for google sandboxing me as well

Yeah, I made the switch a couple days ago, and I'm loving it. It's really grown on me and I'm getting no more headaches trying to find what i want, when I want it. No more having to search through 2 or 3 pages of crap, then get fed up and start clicking adwords.

Its strange, i only ever used to click on the natural listings..

Hmmm... we can't find what were looking for in the natural results so we click on PPC ads, that make G anywhere from a few cents, to several dollars per click... interesting...

I and many of my clients have made the switch...I'm pickier than they are, but for the most part things are good.

Now if the traffic would only pickup.

hehe, i smell a conspiracy theory comin on.
it never really concerned me before, it was purely out of desperation to click on the ads in order to find the info i was looking for, but then again, if G did that purposely, kudos to them, they are very clever people at google.
Albeit perhaps an unscrupulous thing to do, but clever never the less.

Another reason to set msn as your homepage.

For search, I am still using google. I like their results, but MSN is starting to look good.

For optimizing your site.... Attack on ALL fronts.

I read over at WMW that some people are putting links on their sites to MSN and Yahoo search and suggesting to their visitors that results there are better than Googles, so use them.

One guy has even put a pop up that is shown to referals from G saying use MSN or Yahoo their results are much more relevent!

Wouldn't go that far but I think a link and a note is a good idea. If ALL webmasters did this I think it would have an effect and might make G think twice about being so damn arrogant.

Just an observation guys'n'gals: just a while back most of us were saying that basically nobody should mess with OUR Google. Now I sense a lot of us want to jump ship and move to MSN and some (gulp!) to Yahoo. You folks sensing the same thing? :

Can't wait. The fact that you guys (or I for that matter) use MSN more often doesn't mean the average internet user will do the same (...not yet anyway)
