I don't know what version of the RDF they have used but a web page added to ODP on 28th of December does not show on Google directory.

You should not put false expectations on a ODP listing. Most websites do not follow ODP guidelines and cannot be added to the directory. And ODP listing is just an hypothetical bonus.

No. ODP listings are the result of a strange mix beetween a meritocratic system and random times. ;)

The directory PR uses a 8-values scale, while the toolbar PR uses a 10-values scale. So the last one is a bit more precise.

it looks like it is fluxing...reverting back to an older state, but i can swear it did change, it probably will completely update in the next couple of days!

Although I tend to find the Google Directory PR can be more up-to-date and a sign of 'things to come' on the toolbar PR.

I find the directory PR is much more accurate and is certainly much more up to date.

Does the Directory PR account for links taking time to age? Or does it just show the full value?

Man whats the matter... the post in here is about the G Dir Update.... all of us knows that google takes the listing from DMOZ....right. so i just asked that directory has been updated but mine is still not included ..

any thing wrong is asking.. ???

still if u think that this DMOZ is ruining the thread... i deeply regret for that & assure you that this will not happen in future

I see that I am #3 now on a money keyword in the Directory but still nowhere in the top 1000 in the main results. I sure wish I understood the logic.
