More Changes...Directory PR and BL's?
what is going on? just on Oct. 17th we had a directory PR update. now it looks like there has just been another one! and everyone is saying the BL's have updated, which i can see on the main google site but with McDar's tool it's only showing on a few of the datacenters. anyone else seeing this? was the directory PR a revert??

Dir PR hasn't reverted for me, but I can't spot a change forward either (it could have changed but it's not apparent in my cats)

The directory has had a interesting update. Its a lot more
accurate to how it was a couple of weeks back (at least where my site is)

Update: G-dir has updated in my cats too now... I dropped a few places (in the "topical" cat) but the bar has stayed the same. Definite update, not a roll-back.

akany - G claims it edits the dmoz data before listing it, so chances are G has found something dubious...

Is your site showing any signs of being banned or nerfed? I'm rather curious why it would be removed from the Google dir. while it's still in dmoz.

No - the only reason that could explain that is that i changed the url of my dmoz entry from .com to .de

so what does all of it mean? i've been seeing sites dropping out of pretty solid cats lately too. update or cleanse then revert? btw, i like that othello site.

it looks like the new (reverted?) update is still in effect as of today for us and you're right about it looking identical to two updates ago. now the question is will it stick...i certainly hope so!
