Major SERPS change as of Wednesday (25th)
I have noticed that as of around 2am yesterday there has been what appears to be a major algo change, at least for travel booking related terms. Has anyone else noticed a substantial drop in traffic since yesterday? If so please lpost below stating which branch/theme as I think Google may be just targetting certain themes with a new filter. Also of interest is major rises in serps which have been reported on various forums.

If you have seen a big change in traffic since yesterday (either way) please post below as it is important to get a good number of examples in order to work out what is happening.

Yeah, my results are yo-yoing up and down - had slipped from #3 to 4, got back up to 3 for a couple of days and now I'm back down at 4 again.

My other site that's also been making an upwards progression through the serps on a daily basis (after being penalized) has all of a sudden started dropping back down too

We have dropped in many of our words/phrases. We are in the home/garden retail category. I did notice this about the time that you suggested (yesterday morning).

My ringtones site had a bad day yesterday which was caused by totally revamped SERPS. Pages with diluded title and heading tag keyword density did fine, the others went down from their topspots.

The SERPS went back to normal late last night, but I must admit I started thinking of doing some precautionary actions just in case...

Hotel Site has Dropped
We've experienced exactly the same - our hotel site has dropped right down.

I've just checked the test servers and we're top on server 2 but nowhere on live or www3.

How long before we start to panic?
