Possible trick for Yahoo to crawl you
Jayde is the trick.
For one of my websites, whatever i did, i never got crawled by yahoo. Last week i submit my site to Jayde and as soon as i got included by them (yesterday), Yahoo started crawling me like crazy. Coincidence? You tell me! |

For life of me, i never could get in Yahoo. And still can't with some other websites. Now i submitted them to Jayde today. Lets see if this "coincidence" happens again. |

Get one page into Yahoo, then use that page to link other pages that you want in their index. Link to them high in the code. My best pages are getting in this way.

Why are you saying high in the code Egol? Its a little hard for me to do without hiding it. Mainly content on my sites with links on one side or bottom. Can you elaborate? |

if you hide your links in a noscript tag .. they would still be indexed ?
I've seen it on Google .. it still applies to Yahoo ? |

Yahoo has indexed all of the links that are high in the code on all of my sites - but links near the bottom of the page or in nested tables are not being indexed as well. I am getting new pages in the index by making them one of the first links on one of my already indexed pages. I am not putting links up to hundreds of pages, just the most important ones. I have rotated them in and out of my top-of-page navigtation - and I don't think that it stunk up my design or content - these are all similar-theme sites. |

I had figured this was happening EGOL but I wasn't quite sure on my sites how to pull it off. It would stink up my design. Going to look at what gabi2004 suggests. |

I tried to get in yahoo and FAILED so i got paid inclusion with ah-ha
https://secure.ah-ha.com/guaranteed...network=dogpile cost me about £30 GB and im getting top for some searches. Id ask your clients "what is £30?" i dont think its right that they should be able to charge but hey, we cant do anything about it. be aware this doesnt seem to get you in dogpile very quick, my site took ages to appear. |

It wouldn't necessarily have to be a coincidence. Jayde may spider better than the other sites linking in to that website, making it easier to find discount hotel's website.

Great tips in Web Pro News EGOL. I planned to use them immediately but I had a backfire in Google. I hadn't touched my index page since it came back from Florida but I corrected two spellings. Bam, I triggered what seems like the old Florida filters.
