I believe (if I remember right) that's a template fix, not in the default forum options. But still should be an easy fix by simply uploading a new images with the correct name as per the template, no?

I don't think you get the "respond" button on closed threads, are you sure someone didn't simply close the thread whilst you was typing your reply? Its happened to me before lol, and that's why I'm now in the habit of copy paste before I post a reply on any forums or blog etc

I can not be 100 percent certain the thread was not closed while I was typing but I think it was already closed.
I suggest testing but I don't have time right now.

We tested it. Its a three-part issue. First, as an admin or mod/supermod, you still see the quick reply box (beneath it you will see a check-box to "re-open thread after you post". Also, if you started the thread and it got closed, you will see the quick reply - it won't let you post though. It does not show on closed threads if you are a normal user that did not start the thread.

I'll see if we can get an icon in the thread itself to make it more visible. Good catch!

    Lock reputation in locked threads?

I don't know if this is good or bad. I just got a reputation comment in a locked thread. The comment was just an attempt to post in the thread.
There are of course good reasons to allow reputation posting any time someone finds something helpful / bad. However, it is a back door to posting.

So I think locking the reputation system on locked threads should be considered.

    Post Preview Bug
    - When you preview a post tags such as Bold are not obeyed.

    Markup Bug
    - The font size markup seems to do nothing.

I meant my activation email. I tried to edit my avatar and it said that I need to send and confirm an activation email. Clicked the button and it never came to my mail.

    Hello,

I can answer this. vBulletin, which is the software that our forums is based on, sometimes displays incorrect error messages when we've blocked access to certain things. In this case, access to certain parts of your user profile (your avatar, for example) are restricted until your post count and reputation levels reach a certain number. However, there's no way for vBulletin to display that specific error message - so instead it mentions an activation email. We don't actually send out activation emails on SEO Chat, to my knowledge. Newbies can begin posting as soon as they've registered an account, and their accounts gradually unlock more privileges as they make posts and are recognized by other members for their valuable contributions.

For instance, your account is no longer a "Newbie" - thanks to your posts and whatever rep you've received, you've been promoted to a "Registered User."

Sorry for the inconvenience! I've given you some reputation points for a post you made here: How to Increase twitter Followers so that will get you started! Keep posting, learning, asking questions and providing help where you're able and you'll build up the rep and post numbers in no time

Posting here is a great way to get help, and you can also PM me or email me at markr@imninjas.com too. I'll try to answer any technical questions ASAP, especially via email.

Thanks for the clarification. I just wanted to change my avatar to something more personal. Lol.
