SEO Chat Separte GOOGLE Categories

Hi,

It seens that 80% of the SEO Chat is on Google. Why don't you break Google chat section into separte categories. There are multiple theads with the same comments and questions. Very disorganized.

Here is some suggested Google categories...
... Google PR
... Google Link Exchange Questions
... Google Algorythm
... Google Site Check
... Google Ban
... Google Dance
... Google General

Why do you think?

It is a good idea, although I was hoping we could expand on topics. 80% on Google is a bit too specific I think..

I hope that was can start to discuss other issues asides from Google too!

This web site is called SEO Chat, right? So it makes sense that your chat at SEO Chat is about 80 percent Google since Google has about 80 percent of the SEO market.

I think that Google posts will greatly be reduced in the forum and it will be substantially more benefital to the reader if it had categories.

The posts would be reduced because right now there are a TON of dulpicate posts - frustrating. The categories would be a benefit so we can clearly read threads of one subject matter within Google.

Right now, the Google forum is frustating to read through. I bet if this set of posts on categorizing Google chat were in the Google Chat forum... many would agree

Good choice, i think there is paranoya going on the forum and most threads are about dropping/having grey bar and i'm not interested in time when google is repairing itself.

I suggested to Darrin (PM) that it may be good to have a 'beginners' or 'new to google' forum in Google as there is a very wide gap from the total novice to the 'qualified' SEO. It will help ensure quality postings - possibly 'new' 'intermediate' & 'pro' general forums may work.

Or is this just complicating things?
