OK well that explains you leaving ... but why does the thread need to leave?

You need to appreciate a few things:
    1. Opinions are like assholes... everybody's got one!

    2. If you keep learning you'll beat the odds!

    3. Saying you're a professional merely 2 days after you ask for basic help does not sound like a professional.

    4. Truth be told Rand Fishkin of SEOMoz has a few REALLY embarrassing threads around and it doesn't hurt him any... so I think you are safe.

Stick around... you won't find a better place to learn "deeply".

If they won't remove the thread for you, you may be able to edit the thread and take out your company name. That way, if someone is searching for your company, then that thread won't come up on Google.

Best way is to check if one of the mods is online: http://forums.seochat.com/showgroups.php

Then shoot the right one a PM

So I've just (re)moved the thread after it was already edited by JS.

I'm reluctant to remove you as well.

I dunno which negative comment you were referring to. Please feel free to point it out to me in a PM (be quick, because I'm leaving for my hols in a day or two).

Word of warning: if said thread was indexed and if you want its CONTENT deindexed, then some mod will have to move it back to the public section after having altered the content.

That is because it is VERY hard to get a webpage deindexed -- it's far easier to have it re-indexed with altered content.

Think about it, and let us know. For the same reason - apart from the fact that you are a valued member - I won't remove you from the members list just yet.
