Somebody has lost the plot and messes up at every turn.
This was a community and the recent events have proved that it wasnt a community.

A vote on the belts would have been cool.
Would you like the belts relaced with stupd crappy logos?

I am learning from all this though.
I am gunna write a book on it.
It is titled `The decline of SeoChat`

In a few years we will all be saying `do you remember seochat?`
and it will be like `yeah,, the good old days`

I gotta say that I wasn't a fan of the karate belts and am even less bullish on the current setup. Why not just show the right hand info (post #, reputation, rep power)?

Are these changes really necessary ? Just when I got used of neglecting the belts, there is a new horde round the corner...
Cygnys is right, right hand info + avatar are enough.

Added afterwards... when I put mouse over that thing it says I'm a "SC novice"... this is hilarious since I'm one of the few *active* members from early days of SC... lol...

It hasn't really been answered yet...why the change?

If the board really wants to use something, then create something that takes into account # of posts, length of membership and rep power -- at least then you'll have a metric that might mean something.

Now I have to learn to ignore this one too...
