Angry Forum spam - Nandini

Will some moderator please take note of what Nandini is doing on the forum. Him/Her as made a reply to every post viewable on the forums main page. I've read a lot of the posts and they say stupid things like 'Very interesting' and thats it!!! There not really helping anyone apart from them selves.
All they want is some links on this forum and should be classed as spam!

The guy is digging up every old thread he can find. Ban this guy before he totally destoys the forum.
To bad for the serious people from India that they get these m.r.ns that are destroying forums like this just to try to get some siglink that really isnt that important anyway.

That's the worst bloody part, the digging up of posts from March 2003!

People on here log on to find relevant and up to date content, now we have
to sift through the dates of every post. 2 pages of this have pretty much wrecked
the board for the next 24-48 hours until the relevant stuff gets pushed back to the top.

All so he can display a stupid link in a signature.

Red face

Thank you, good moderators makes half of the forum success. I guess a forum also reflects life in general. There are all types of persons...

By the way, Webby. Checked out your site, looks nice. I must say you have the perfect name for the job :-). I am trying to do my webmarketing in Spain (with Catalan etc.) so its always nice to see what approach different people takes in the non English regions.

Last edited by laiwa : June 14th, 2004 at 07:42 AM. Reason: My english as usual...

Under 100 Posts policy wasn't a good idea... Why are you forcing people to post? You'll get only stupid replies and a lot of spam :-(

It might be good if the first thing that a new user saw once they click the activation link was a concise summary of the do's and dont's of posting etiquette, plus some indication of the action that will be taken against anyone who blatantly flounts the rules.

Nobody is forcing anyone to post. They are simply trying to limit the number of URL's in each post as too many people make posts just to try and get an extra BL.

This thread does not belong here. Please use the report a post feature for this type of activity.

We will have to institute new policy in order to avoid these "thank you" types of posts.

Policy sucks but people abuse the system.

Jcaputo strikes again! Everyone should use the bad post button on the upper right of the post and report any spam post. This, more than verbalizing, will get the mod's attention.
