    Finally kill the Alexa Forum?

As part of this interface update maybe it is time for the alexa forum to finally be killed.

There are lots more subforums that need to be 'killed' (or at least merged) But you're right.

It's going to take some time though - or so I fear - for things to get properly organised like that. Stay tuned, but please don't hold your breath

James is Ann in charge of doing that? I would be happy to help re structure the forums to make them easier to read and post in, and remove what is no longer needed.

For sections like the alexa section, maybe we should leave them as read only with a note and stick thread to explain they have been closed due to being of no value to the seo community/world and thus out of date, and so we have decided to close them for further posting but will leave them live for those that are interested in reading.

I know we don't need to do that, and it gives little value for us that know alexa is of no value, but we still get a large amount of people asking about it who are misinformed and so it would be a good idea to leave the section as read only with at least a sticky thread to explain what alexa really is and why it is no value in terms of seo.
