Much to some people's dismay, i'll suggest that too.......

That we should get rid of the signatures all-together which is attracting a lot of crap posting and obviously posters.......


Or at least we should limit that to just one signature so that we dont have all those clutters which specially the new one's are having........

I know this will shrug off huge number of posters and they wont visit again, but even their remaining here just for signatures is'nt a reason strong enough to keep them here.......

Well said,I think it will be better that only owner & moderators can use signature facility ,so that if they will make sign with some useful resources like seochat faqs then it will be helpful to other members.

IMO, this wont be a feasible idea at all. By turning off the signature facility, i think it will be a better idea just to turn off any external signature with everyone being free to use seochat threads as their signature as i am doing or you are doing. That does help others.

If only the mods and admins or the owners had that right, no one will reap the benefits to a considerable extent as mods and admins have a lot other things to do apart from just posting here and thus making their signature visible for each and everyone posting in all the forums.

Why we are sitting here just because of learning seo technique. But many members sit here just because of increase their post and add their signature and turns it link farm. I suggest only one signature is allowed than we may understand the value of the one of most valuable seo forum in this world.

I have started now I have removed my signature only one signature link is remaining.

Good & now as we suggested,after somedays remaining one link will also remove by SEOchat rules

That will be better option as I feel because we are here just because of we want to learn nothing else. It is not a link farm it is discussion forum for seo technique. and I am very glad to see you here you are knowledgeable person.

Guyz you are missing the point. "SEOChat" wants people to sign up and post. Anything. Crap if needed. The forum thrives on newbies a-post-padding Think about it.

I agree that many junk posters post crap just for the sake of sig links, but this very signature and no-follow issue had led to the exodus of quite a few renowned SEOs from this community a couple of years back.

So let's not start this all over again. We have very vigilant members who regularly report foul play in the forums that helps mods and admins to remove crap ASAP.

IMHO, limiting the number of links in the sig of a member to 2 (with only one followed) might help in reducing sig spam.

What all do you think about it?
