Favorite Icon for SEO
Darrin, when you get a chance add a favorite icon to your code. Just a nice little touch.
Suggestion for the suggestion box.

Sounds Good..
Would anyone care to submit a Favicon... I like the user interaction part. If anyone would care to take a few moments and design one then go ahead.. It's definetly on my list of things to do now!

Question: What is the best way to implement a favicon into a site?
I haven't ever used one on my sites, because a lack of time. But as of recent, I am more interested in using and designing one. Anybody got any suggestions. Thought I would ask the people here before doing a general search on Google. Its such a nice added touch to pass off. Ben |

I believe it is 16x16 pixels .. I'm going to look into it this very second - might see one in action in about 1 hour!!

i'll also try to send one over soon. I think simply using the O in the SEOChat logo would be perfect!

ok here is first contribution inspirated by SEO logo. of course it's look pretty crappy because it's hard to fit something in 16*16 pixels(by the way it has two version 32*32 also just in case, if someone would like to drag it on desktop so he'll have icon of better quality). I believe that soon you'll have more better icons but until that time maybe you will want to use this one:

Darrin, I've play with icon and done another version maybe you'll like it most it's still in the same place:
http://www.weblamp.net/temp/favicon.ico now it's using colors of SEOChat which are more visible than on the old icon. |
