You can increase you Pinterest followers if you share a pin that can catch everyones attention. Last thing is you must also learn to follow those type of accounts that is related to your business if your working pinterest for your business.

I can't believe that from all the posts above no one has told you to simple pin images which people would want to share!

I started my pinterest as a simply test to see what I could do with it by pinning images from seo sites and other people I know. For example I pinned a number of images from SEO sites along with links to the related articles about goolge updates and so on.

This gained me a number of followers and now I get new follower every week even when I haven't pinned anything new for a while.

Like mentioned above, if you use your personal facebook, facebook pages/groups and twitter to share your new pins that should also gain you new followers and re-pins.

So in simple terms, pin what's interesting and share it with your social accounts and you should start getting re-pins and new followers quite easier as long as your pinning images and links to stuff people are interested.

Try to post something creative and unique, and if it gets hit in pinterest, you can automatically get thousands of followers. Also make your profile good for the viewers who come to your profile. I have a good account and i managed everything in separate folders and whenever any visitor come to see my profile most of them end up following me because of the unique stuff.
