    FaceBook? Google? What else?

I've been trying to use some social media (mostly Google+, Facebook and Pinterest) and I guess I'm seeing some results.

What other (if any) social media platforms are worth pursuing?

    Seeing what type of results?

Those are all nofollow links so don't help to rank your pages.

Google+, & Facebook are places to acquire traffic (instead of search engine traffic) and Pinterest is for people that don't have a website to share their collections of 'whatever' with others.

Try Twitter, it will help to build brand awareness. Tumblr is good one as well. There are now loads of people on Tumblr than before, it will help to get more traffic. Whatever social media you go for, do some researches before that. Not all of them work in a similar way. Each of them are different and should be used differently.
    Good luck!

I currently get about 35-40% of my traffic to one site from facebook. On the same site twitter, google plus, pinterest and all the others send me less than 1%. What use they are to me I dont know.

If you're a photographer, flickr is worth the trouble. Can't see a reason to be on flickr if your not a photographer though.

I think it depends on your business purposes. Each network has slightly different targets. A B2B site will probably not do well on Pinterest while an Ecomm site will probably not do well on LinkedIn. Reddit can be great if there's an active subreddit on your niche.

Also, it depends on how much time you have to devote to social media. If you just automate the same post across all platforms you're wasting your time. You need to engage with others, provide unique, useful content and posts and maintain an active, ongoing presence. I've found most people seem to be able to handle 3 profiles before activity starts becoming sporadic and some start getting neglected. I'd pick the 3 most relevant to your business and then add on more if you have extra time.

If you're seeing results from your current social efforts, double down and look to do more. Rather than trying to expand to other channels when you haven't llikely maximized this one yet.

Ello, Tsu, Papaly and Pinterest are extremely well and new startups to get traffic from.
