Put the css and js in an external file. This would clean up your code alot. Get some backlinks you have 0 showing in google right now. Also you should try to work your keyword in a h2 also.

Edit: Also run your code through http://validator.w3.org , it is in the rules to this forum to do this before you post, but who reads those right..

amaturish? Makes since seeing that I am an amerture at building websites. But as far as the meta tags. Everything Ive read says they are needed for the search engines to search them properly. And seeing that i want to rank very high on the searh rankings then I think they should stay. Unless you have anything more that i should know regarding search engines and meta tags?

Hmmm. Whatever feedback you want - you've got some, and you don't seem that inclined to take any notice of it.

And, yes, the site does look slightly amateurish, but the stuff you're selling (I hope) looks great.

Hi thomasfcarlson@,

1. The title is important and you can probably keyword stuff it a little better than it is at present.

2. <meta name="revist-after" content="7 DAYS"> tag (to my knowledge anyway) really doesn't work as you can not instruct a search
engine when it should come back. Well, you can try but I don't think it will pay much attention to this. If it did and everyone with a
site did it, everything would slowly grind to a halt. (Just extra page bloat if you ask me)

3. By putting the css and js in external files, you are allowing search engines to better spider your site. They can deal with css and js
but it gives them an easier run in spidering your site. (which they like)

4. Meta tags like description etc are not as important as they used to be and only carry a little (we are talking tiny) bit of weight but I
think that even 0.06% extra weight is worth the effort so I would keep your description tags.

Good luck with your clothing site. I know how difficult it can be as one of my sites is: DoseUK - Funny T-shirts

I hope this helps dude.

Your font-background choice is very hard on my eyes.
I even didn't bother to read what you have to say because of this.
Alltogher I have an Impression that the site was put together by 13 years old. If it is than it is a decent work, if you are older than 13 than you have a lot of work to do.

No offence, but I personally wouldn't buy from a site like that, it looks very unprofessional, and not at all like a serious ecommerce site.

Why don't you check out http://www.oscommerce.com/ It's totally free and professional looking. You can customise it to suit your needs with very little web development experience. I'm sure there are other shopping carts out there, but I personally like oscommerce.

As for the tags, I always have a title, description and keywords. I know google and some other search engines don't use the keyword tag anymore, but some of the smaller search engines may still use them so it does no harm to keep them. Bots will spider your site wether you have the follow, index or not. You only need to use a robot tag if you want to keep certain pages from being spidered, and it's better to have a robot.txt

I use Firefox with the popup stopper, so when I try to add an item to the cart nothing happens. A lot of people have popup blockers of some sort so you might want to rethink how your cart is set.

I do like you product pictures though, the way they zoom in on a mouseover. Nice effect.
