www.seospot.com SEO Spot
Need feedback on this site .....
http://www.seospot.com/ Specifically, I need info on the organization of the software section. I tried to break down the software titles as best I could -- I sure it will be revised as the site grows. We hope to have 1000 titles by the end of November. Also, what about the oranged on the right ..... there was too much white space but on big screens it is too much orange. Thanks in advance. |

WinXP IE6.0 NS7.1 Opera7.0 1152 x 864
1. I get an error for http://www.seospot.com/software/web...links-1.51.html 2. Specifically, I need info on the organization of the software section. I tried to break down the software titles as best I could -- I sure it will be revised as the site grows. Ok, but not great. Collapsible navigation, search engine, etc. can be implemented here to give more mobility to users. 3. Also, what about the oranged on the right ..... there was too much white space but on big screens it is too much orange. Too much orange especially when the browser window takes bigger than 800 x 600. You can probably centralize the site; that would probably make the site look better like Yahoo, Google and AOL. You probably want to use white background as well instead of yellow/orange. Since your audience is pretty web-savvy, you might want to think about applying fluid design like http://www.thenoodleincident.com/tu...son/basic4.html

Thanks ... the page you present has a css only layout --- what is the browser support for such a design?

Good question; NS and Opera handle this particular design in the same way, but IE handles a little differently. Do you have all these three browsers? If not, you might want to get all these and test it out. The site does work in all three browsers though. As far as version numbers are concerned, I actually don't know. I presume we can find that out in w3c site or ... some other site. |
